Our Members
National and international members of the Thirty Percent Coalition work to increase diversity in corporate boardrooms. Coalition members include a unique mix of over 90 institutional investors, state treasurers, private equity firms, corporate and professional services firms, individuals, and advocacy groups. By working together, our members reinforce their own efforts, share best practices, learn from one another, and have greater power to change the composition of US boardrooms.
Becoming a Member
Member Commitment + Engagement
The Coalition seeks collaborative partnerships where each party works toward the common goal of increased boardroom diversity. We encourage engagement through participation in our working groups and through attendance at our annual meetings to benefit from significant networking and interaction with other Coalition members. Annual membership contributions support our programs, and some members contribute at sponsor levels beyond membership dues to further support the Coalition.
Value Of Membership
Over the past decade, the Coalition has grown from a handful of investors to a national forum that facilitates unique collaboration among its members. This forum enables members to amplify their engagement with companies and scale their impact beyond their portfolio companies.
- For investors, the Coalition provides concrete support for those who engage with companies, including sample charters, voting policy discussions and other resources.
- For corporate leaders, the Coalition provides a welcoming, collaborative forum so they can hear what is on the minds of investors. We also share new insights and best practices from diverse companies who are ahead of the pack.
- For private equity and alternative asset firms, the Coalition has been an early convener of GPs and LPs, providing a forum where they can advance issues of interest to investors on the public side that drive value on the private side.
- For nonprofit and advocacy members, the Coalition regularly shares the research and insights from these members with our investor and corporate members, and facilitates opportunities for connection and collaboration.
- For individual members, the Coalition provides membership to a national coalition of asset owners, investors and advocates who tirelessly champion gender, racial/ethnic, LGBTQ+ and disability diversity on corporate boards.
