6th Edition Report – Women in the boardroom

A global perspective

Women are still largely under-represented on corporate boards globally, and progress to change this trend continues to be slow. Our 6th edition of our Women in the Boardroom report outlines efforts and progress made in over 60 countries to increase the number of women occupying board seats.

The report also features perspectives of three non-executive directors from Australia, Spain and the US into how boardroom diversity is progressing in their parts of the world.

Studies have repeatedly shown that increasing diversity is not only the right thing to do for an organization’s culture, it also leads to better business outcomes. Increased diversity leads to smarter decision-making, contributes to an organization’s bottom line, and powers innovation, among other benefits.
